Transitional Justice Conference held in Belgium
Brussels, December 15 (Hibya) – The Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with Lawyers Without Borders (ASF) and the Leuven Institute of Criminology (LINC), hosted a conference focusing on the future of transitional justice.
The Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with ASF and LINC, organized a conference bringing together experts, academics, policymakers and practitioners to address the future of transitional justice.
The statement noted that the conference reflects Belgium’s long-standing commitment in this field and marks the 10th anniversary of the European Union’s transitional justice policy framework. The event, held with a strong emphasis on human rights, included assessments of the future of transitional justice.
