Trump: Buy American, fly on American planes
Washington, September 7 (Hibya) – US President Donald Trump made strong remarks regarding Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier's operations in the US market, arguing that if the company benefits from the American market, it should also manufacture in the country.
Trump claimed that Bombardier's products were not good enough, noting that more than half of the company's revenue comes from the United States. Trump also alleged that Canada blocks the activities of US banks and companies.
Trump said, “No more Bombardier sales in the United States. Their products are not good enough.”
Trump also said Canada was preventing Gulfstream Aerospace from operating in the country, describing the situation as “totally unfair and unjust.”
Trump said, “If they want our market, they should manufacture here and stop treating America like a piggy bank.”
Calling on US citizens and consumers, Trump said, “Buy American. Fly on American planes. Enjoy American alcoholic beverages and drinks.”
Trump concluded his remarks by emphasizing “America First.”
