Trump Seeks Authority to Intervene in Federal Reserve Decisions
Washington, August 9 (Hibya) - Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has stated that he wants to obtain the authority to intervene in decisions made by the Federal Reserve.
According to reports from the American press, Trump said at a press conference held at his home in Mar-a-Lago, Florida: “I believe the president should at least have something to say.”
Trump added: “So, in my case, I’ve made a lot of money, I’ve been very successful, and I think I have a better instinct than many of the people sitting in the Fed or who are its chairmen.”
