Tsahkna: Estonia and Portugal Determined to Take Cooperation to the Next Level
Tallinn, January 7 (Hibya) — Estonia’s Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, in a meeting with Portugal’s ambassador to Estonia Jose Fernando Alves da Costa Pereira, reiterated support for Ukraine and explored opportunities to deepen cooperation between the two countries.
Estonia’s Foreign Minister Tsahkna held a meeting with Portugal’s Ambassador Pereira. “We reaffirmed our unwavering support for Ukraine, emphasized the importance of continued pressure on Russia, and discussed opportunities to deepen our bilateral partnership,” Tsahkna said.
The Estonian minister also said, “As partners with similar views in the European Union and NATO, Estonia and Portugal are determined to take cooperation in defense, trade, and tourism to the next level.”
