New York, August 1 (Hibya) - United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk stated that human trafficking steals the dignity and freedom of millions of people every day.
Volker Türk said, "Human trafficking steals the dignity and freedom of millions of people every day."
Calling on governments, Türk said, "My office and I are determined to support victims and promote human rights-based interventions, but we need your help. Governments, civil society, and the private sector must strengthen laws and practices against human trafficking."
