TurkStat-Domestic producer prices rose by 1.96 pct. in May, annual producer inflation at 5
Istanbul, June 3 (Hibya) - Domestic producer prices increased by 1.96 percent in May, by 17.87 percent in the first five months of the year, by 57.68 percent on an annual basis, and by 47.24 percent on the twelve months moving averages basis, according to the data released by Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) on Monday.
Domestic producer prices in four main industry sectors increased by 75.84 percent for mining and stone quarrying, by 60.31 percent for manufacturing, by 21.38 percent for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, and by 75.86 percent for water supply annually.
The indices of the main industrial groups; increased by 55.48 percent for intermediate goods, by 64.91 percent for durable consumer goods, by 66.12 percent for non-durable consumer goods, by 43.74 percent for energy, by 63.51 percent for capital goods annually.
D-PPI in four main industry sectors increased by 2.34 percent for mining and stone quarrying, by 1.44 percent for manufacturing, by 7.32 percent for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, and by 6.24 percent for water supply, monthly.
The indices of the main industrial groups increased by 1.44 percent for intermediate goods, by 2.00 percent for durable consumer goods, by 2.43 percent for non-durable consumer goods, by 3.32 percent for energy, and by 1.34 percent for capital goods monthly.
