The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defense announced that the "Emirates Knights" aerobatic team performed a display flight in New York as part of celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States.

According to the statement, the team flew in U.S. airspace for the first time in its history, performing professional aerial displays and special aerobatic formations over the Statue of Liberty. The flights over New York were among the highlights of the celebrations.

The UAE Ministry of Defense said the participation reflects the country's vision of strengthening ties of friendship and cooperation with nations around the world.

The statement also noted that participating in international events enhances the country's global visibility and reinforces its presence on the international stage.
