In his Canada Day message, President Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and the people of Canada on their national holiday.

Zelensky said that Ukraine joins Canada in celebrating this special day, emphasizing that the support provided by the government in Ottawa has been vital for Ukraine.

In his message, Zelensky highlighted Canada's leading role in providing defense assistance, imposing sanctions against Russia's shadow fleet and financial sector, and advancing diplomatic initiatives, stressing that these contributions have played an important role in protecting the Ukrainian people.

Expressing his appreciation for Canada's continued support, Zelensky said, "We thank Canada," reaffirming his confidence that cooperation between the two countries will continue to grow.
