Ukrainian FM Sybiha meets Japanese counterpart in Brussels
Brussels, April 3 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya at NATO Headquarters.
Sybiha expressed his satisfaction with starting the working day at NATO Headquarters by meeting with his Japanese counterpart, Minister Iwaya.
He said he briefed Iwaya on Ukraine's efforts to achieve peace and thanked Japan, a key ally in Asia, for its continued support to Ukraine.
“We are interested in strengthening our cooperation and trade ties. Considering Japan’s unique historical experience in post-war reconstruction, we will gladly welcome the active role of the Japanese government and companies in Ukraine’s recovery,” Sybiha stated.
