Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha: Freedom and dignity are sacred for Ukraine
Kyiv, February 20 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that freedom and dignity are sacred for Ukraine.
Sybiha mentioned that 11 years ago, while Ukraine was defending its independence and European choice against a corrupt pro-Russian government, a hundred protesters were killed in Kyiv.
He added that on the same day, Russia launched its war against Ukraine, saying: "Despite police brutality, 11 years of Russian aggression and lies, Ukraine defended its European choice and resisted."
Sybiha stated that Ukraine is now on the path to joining the European Union, emphasizing: "Freedom and dignity are sacred for Ukraine. We will not surrender to any authoritarian regime, occupier, or oppressor."
