Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha met with his Finnish counterpart
Kyiv, January 8 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Lepomaki.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha stated that he appreciated Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Lepomaki’s first visit to Ukraine as the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office.
Sybiha noted that they discussed the presidential agenda and priorities, including support for Ukraine, excellent bilateral cooperation, and Finland’s ongoing assistance. He added:
“I called on the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe to remain a platform for holding Russia accountable, focusing on the return of Ukrainian children, the protection of Ukrainian prisoners of war, and documenting Russia’s crimes. We anticipate that Finland will strengthen its commitment to OSCE principles and the Helsinki Final Act.”
