Ukrainian President Zelenskyy thanked Chancellor Scholz for Germany’s bilateral defense assistance and for his leadership in uniting partners in support of Ukraine.

Zelenskyy noted that Scholz confirmed the delivery of the sixth IRIS-T air defense system by the end of this year, adding:

"We also discussed air defense deliveries for the coming year and the potential for additional air defense support from Germany. We coordinated steps to ensure the best possible defense and political support for Ukraine. We agreed on the importance of continuing the ‘Ramstein’ format and holding the next meeting of the coordination group."
