Kyiv, November 27 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone call with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte regarding the outcomes of the Ukraine-NATO Council meeting.
Ukrainian President Zelensky discussed with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte the outcomes of the Ukraine-NATO Council meeting, convened in response to Russia's recent use of ballistic missiles.
Zelensky emphasized the urgent need to strengthen Ukraine's air defense, focusing on specific systems already available in NATO member states. "I also stressed the importance of fully implementing the decisions made at the NATO Summit in Washington, as these commitments are vital for the morale and resilience of our people," he said.
Zelensky highlighted the effectiveness of recent approvals for long-range strikes on Russian military targets but also stressed the importance of maintaining pressure on Russia. "I am grateful to Mark for his continued support and for sharing updated information during his discussions with NATO partners," Zelensky added.
