Ukrainian President Zelensky held his first meeting with Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun.

Congratulating General Aoun on his election, Zelensky said: "I wished stability and security for Lebanon and the entire Middle East. I also thanked Lebanon for its support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity."

Zelensky emphasized that despite Russian aggression, Ukraine remains a reliable guarantor of global food security and proposed establishing a food center in Lebanon to support the Lebanese people. He also discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade and economic relations.
