UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Türk calls on countries to protect human rights
New York, November 28 (Hibya) – United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk called on countries to protect human rights.
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Türk, noting that time is running out, called on countries to protect human rights by negotiating a Plastic Agreement that limits production, bans toxic chemicals, ensures a just transition and sustainable development, aligns with science, and holds polluters accountable.
