UN: Over 700,000 people displaced in Haiti
New York, October 27 (Hibya) – The United Nations (UN) announced that more than 700,000 people have been displaced in Haiti due to ongoing violence.
In a statement from the UN, it was reported that more than 700,000 people, the majority of whom are women and children, have been displaced in Haiti due to the ongoing violence.
The statement noted that the International Organization for Migration and its partners are providing shelter and essential supplies to people seeking safety, but additional support is needed.
