UN Secretary-General Guterres calls on South Sudan's government
New York, March 29 (Hibya) – United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called on the government of South Sudan to end the politics of conflict.
Guterres stated that the time has come for dialogue and de-escalation for the people of South Sudan.
Addressing the country’s leaders, he said: “End the politics of conflict. Release the detained officials. Re-establish the Government of National Unity. Lay down the weapons. Let the people of South Sudan be our priority.”
