UN: Vaccines saved 154 million lives over the past 50 years
New York, March 31 (Hibya) – The United Nations (UN) announced that vaccines have saved 154 million lives in the past 50 years.
The United Nations stated that vaccines have saved 154 million lives over the last five decades.
In the UN's statement: "UNICEF procures and distributes enough vaccines to immunize 45% of the world’s children. Maintaining funding is critical to protect and support the development of children globally."
