UN Secretary-General Guterres condemns attack in Sydney
New York, December 14 (Hibya) – United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned the attack that took place in Sydney, Australia.
UN Secretary-General Guterres said he was horrified by the heinous and deadly attack targeting Jewish families who had gathered to celebrate Hanukkah in Sydney, and condemned the attack in the strongest possible terms.
Guterres said: “On the first day of Hanukkah, which symbolizes the triumph of peace and light over darkness, my heart is with Jewish communities around the world.”
