In his message, Guterres said, "I extend my best wishes to all Muslims around the world for Eid al-Fitr. But I do so mindful of the many Muslims who will not be able to celebrate with their families due to war, conflict, or displacement. Eid is a moment to value solidarity and compassion – and I hope this moment brings people together to make those values a reality."
