UNRWA: Due to the war, Mahmoud returned to northern Gaza on foot with no belongings
New York, February 21 (Hibya) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that a citizen returned to northern Gaza on foot with no belongings due to the war.
UNRWA reported that after being displaced multiple times due to the war, a citizen named Mahmoud returned to northern Gaza on foot with no belongings.
The statement noted that after the reopening of our distribution center in Jabaliya, UNRWA was able to provide him and his family with a tent. It also emphasized: "UNRWA is the backbone of humanitarian aid in Gaza and a lifeline for the people. UNRWA teams must be supported to continue delivering essential aid and services."
