UNRWA: Israeli-American aid distribution model in Gaza puts lives at risk
New York, June 11 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has stated that the Israeli-American aid distribution model being implemented in Gaza puts lives at risk.
UNRWA announced that the Israeli-American aid distribution model in Gaza endangers lives.
In its statement, UNRWA said: "At the same time, it distracts from the ongoing atrocities and leads to waste of resources. The humanitarian community in Gaza, including UNRWA, is ready, experienced, and has sufficient expertise to reach those in need. The State of Israel must lift the blockade and provide us with safe passage so that aid can be delivered and distributed on a large scale safely and without obstruction."
