UNRWA: Over 90% of Palestinian refugees live below the poverty line
New York, April 3 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that more than 90% of Palestinian refugees in Syria live below the poverty line.
In a statement, UNRWA reported that more than 90% of Palestinian refugees in Syria live below the poverty line.
The statement noted that UNRWA provides services to 438,000 people to help meet their basic needs and emphasized the need for additional funding to maintain these essential services for the most vulnerable.
