UNRWA: Support continues for families displaced after floods in Gaza
Gaza, December 15 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that it continues to provide water, sanitation and hygiene services to families displaced following the recent floods in Gaza.
UNRWA stated that it continues its support for families displaced after the recent flood disaster in Gaza. It was reported that UNRWA teams are cleaning and maintaining drainage systems in shelters and displacement sites, while providing clean water and sanitation and hygiene services.
The statement noted that these efforts aim to reduce health risks for people who are already facing significant hardships. UNRWA added that in 2025 it reached 1.4 million people through its water and sanitation services.
