New York, September 2 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that its teams provided polio vaccines to children in the central region of the Gaza Strip.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees stated that today, its teams provided polio vaccines to children in the central region of the Gaza Strip through health centres, mobile health points, and by going tent to tent.
UNRWA's statement read: "They will continue this work tomorrow. We are doing everything we can to vaccinate all children under 10. Temporary regional pauses are critical for administering these vaccines. Beyond these pauses, these children need a long-awaited ceasefire."
