UNRWA: The blockade must end and humanitarian aid must be allowed back
New York, April 6 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) stated that the blockade on Gaza must end and humanitarian aid must be allowed back in.
In its statement, UNRWA noted that it has been over a month since the State of Israel banned the entry of aid and commercial goods into Gaza.
UNRWA added that it continues to provide aid with the remaining supplies: "Stocks are running low and the situation is becoming desperate. The blockade must end and humanitarian aid must be allowed back."
