UNRWA: Waste is accumulating around residential areas in Gaza
New York, August 2 (Hibya) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported that waste is accumulating around residential areas in Gaza.
According to UN Development, the solid waste management system in the Gaza Strip has collapsed. Large dumpsites are not accessible, and waste accumulates around residential areas.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees reported that this situation poses significant health and environmental threats, leading to an increase in diseases such as diarrhoea and respiratory illnesses.
