US and Russia to explore mutual opportunities
Riyadh, February 19 (Hibya) - US and Russian officials agreed to explore the "economic and investment opportunities" that could arise after the end of the war in Ukraine, following talks in Saudi Arabia that marked a tectonic shift in Washington's approach to Moscow.
Statements from both sides came amid growing concerns in Kyiv and Europe that Donald Trump might push for a peace deal favoring Vladimir Putin. No officials from Ukraine or Europe participated in the meeting.
