US imposes sanctions on Venezuelan security forces and 21 members of Maduro's cabinet
Washington, November 27 (Hibya) - US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Alan Miller announced that the US has imposed sanctions on Venezuelan security forces and 21 members of Nicolás Maduro's cabinet.
State Department Spokesperson Miller stated that the US has imposed sanctions on Venezuelan security forces and 21 members of Maduro's cabinet who support illegitimate claims of election victory and oppress Venezuelans.
Miller emphasized that the US supports the Venezuelan people's aspiration for a democratic transition and the right to freedom of expression.
