U.S. stocks rise while DAX declines in global markets
Istanbul, July 16 (Hibya) – U.S. stock markets posted a positive performance during the July 15 session. The Nasdaq rose 0.62 percent, the S&P 500 gained 0.38 percent, and the Dow Jones advanced 0.29 percent, while Germany's DAX fell 0.59 percent.

During the July 15 trading session, U.S. equities moved higher, while selling pressure dominated European markets.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 0.29 percent at 52,658.64 points. During the session, the index reached an intraday high of 52,823.95 points and a low of 52,428.54 points.
The S&P 500 climbed 0.38 percent to 7,572.40 points, while the Nasdaq gained 0.62 percent to 26,269.23 points. The Russell 2000 Index, which tracks small-cap companies, also rose 0.39 percent to 2,976.26 points.
The S&P 500 VIX Index, which reflects market risk appetite, fell 5.03 percent to 15.67.
In North America, the S&P/TSX Index gained 0.27 percent to 35,416.20 points. In Latin America, Brazil's Bovespa Index fell 0.36 percent to 176,011 points, while Mexico's S&P/BMV IPC Index declined 0.17 percent to 66,399.71 points.
The MSCI World Index slipped 0.06 percent to 4,873.88 points. In Europe, the DAX Index lost 0.59 percent to close at 24,999.53 points.
