WHO Director-General Ghebreyesus sends condolence message to Pakistan
Geneva, August 18 (Hibya) – World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus issued a condolence message for the victims of floods caused by heavy rains in northern Pakistan.
WHO Director-General Ghebreyesus noted that the devastating floods in Pakistan had affected many people and expressed his condolences to those who lost their loved ones in the disaster.
He added that the WHO is supporting the government in meeting health needs and has sent medical supplies to treat 15,000 people.
