WHO: Tobacco companies paying influencers to promote their products
Geneva, June 10 (Hibya) - The World Health Organization (WHO) reported that tobacco companies pay influencers to promote their products.
In a statement from the WHO, it was noted that over 100 titles related to tobacco were displayed over 25 billion times between 2007 and 2016.
The statement emphasized that tobacco companies are paying influencers to promote their products, stating: "It is time to step in, reject their tactics, and cut all ties with the tobacco industry."
