Yermak met with the singer of the Irish rock band U2, Bono
Kyiv, May 13 (Hibya) - Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, held an online meeting with the Irish rock musician and lead vocalist of U2, Bono.
Andriy Yermak expressed gratitude to Bono for the strong support and assistance provided to Ukraine during the full-scale war initiated by Russia.
The Head of the Presidential Office noted that Ukraine bravely resisted Russian aggression and simultaneously made significant diplomatic efforts to devise a plan for ensuring fair peace.
In this regard, a Global Peace Summit will be held in Switzerland on June 15-16, and Ukraine hopes to participate as many countries as possible, including the Global South, in this summit.
Andriy Yermak called on Bono to support and actively promote the idea of the Global Peace Summit.
