Amsterdam, May 27 (Hibya) - Dutch Defense Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz Zegerius announced that the Zr. Ms. Willemstad vessel will be deployed in the Mediterranean as part of a NATO mission and that its possible use in the Strait of Hormuz is also being considered if necessary.

The statement noted that the vessel’s deployment in the Strait of Hormuz, which is critically important for oil and gas transportation, is also being considered if necessary.
