Zelensky conveyed to Montenegro information about the frontline situation and Russia's attempts to expand the war.

Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the meeting as follows:

"Our focus is on ongoing defence operations and communication with the military, so all foreign visits need to be postponed. We discussed the upcoming Peace Summit in detail, which could be the first step towards restoring a just peace. I am grateful to Prime Minister Montenegro for his commitment to support Portugal's participation in the summit and to use his contacts to ensure maximum international support for his country at the Peace Summit."
