Zelensky: A new draft mineral agreement with the US will be ready within a week
Kyiv, April 5 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday that Ukraine will select a law firm early next week to represent its interests in negotiations with the US, and a new draft of the mineral agreement will be ready for presentation.
“At the beginning of next week, I will have a large meeting with our team. During this meeting, I will be presented with all the points of the agreement that satisfy us or, in our view, reflect the fairness of the deal,” Zelensky said.
He added that a technical team would then be ready for a trip to the United States and to engage in dialogue with American partners. Zelensky stated that he himself would not take part in the trip.
