Zelensky dismissed Ukrainian Security Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov
Stockholm, March 26 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Oleksiy Danilov from the post of secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. The presidential decree on Danilov's dismissal was published on the Presidency website on March 26.
In another decree, Zelensky appointed Oleksandr Lytvynenko, the current head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, to replace Danilov. Oleh Ivashchenko will replace Lytvynenko as Foreign Intelligence Service chief.
No official statement has been made yet regarding the dismissal and new appointment.
Danilov had been serving as secretary of the National Security and Defense Council since 2019.
