Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Moldovan President Maia Sandu and Romanian President Nicușor Dan.

Zelensky emphasized that it was their first meeting in this trilateral format and that they could achieve a lot for the security of the region and their countries. He stated: “We discussed many issues. The top priority is to counter Russian threats — hybrid warfare, cyberattacks, and open military aggression. Together with Romania, we will certainly support Moldova, which has been with us since the beginning of the war, in resisting Russia’s destructive influence. We also discussed energy issues, military cooperation, and the development of rail and road infrastructure. We will work to increase mobility for our citizens. Sanctions and roles in the peace process were addressed separately.”
