Zelensky presents housing certificates to families of fallen heroes
Kyiv, December 31 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky attended a ceremony to distribute housing certificates to distinguished soldiers and the families of fallen heroes.
According to the Ukrainian Presidency, President Volodymyr Zelensky presented 20 housing certificates to soldiers awarded the title “Hero of Ukraine” and to the families of fighters who received the title posthumously.
During the ceremony, Zelensky thanked the soldiers and their families for their courage, resilience, and determination, stressing that this practice will continue as a state tradition.
In his speech, Zelensky said Ukraine is grateful to those who sacrificed their lives to protect the country’s sovereignty and people, adding that ensuring every hero has a home is a fundamental expression of the state’s gratitude.
A moment of silence was observed in honor of those who lost their lives for the homeland.
