Zelensky: Rescue operations continue in Odesa after Russian attack
Kyiv, February 19 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that rescue operations continue in Odesa following another Russian attack on the city's energy infrastructure.
Ukrainian President Zelensky emphasized that rescue operations in Odesa continue following another Russian attack on energy infrastructure, saying: "Once again, civilian energy facilities have been targeted. For nearly three years, the Russian army has been using missiles and attack drones against them."
Zelensky added that after the well-known meeting in Riyadh, it became clear that Russian representatives once again lied when they claimed they had not targeted Ukraine's energy sector, adding:
"However, almost simultaneously, they launched another attack, striking electrical transformers with drones. And this was in winter. At night, the temperature was minus 6 degrees Celsius. At least 160,000 Odesa residents are currently without heating and electricity. Thirteen schools, one kindergarten, and several hospitals are also left without power or heating."
