Zelensky: Russia killed 12 people in attack on residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia
Kyiv, October 10 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said 12 people, including three children, were killed and 14 were injured in a Russian attack on residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia attacked residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia with five glide bombs, killing 12 people. Zelensky said three children were among those killed and that 14 people were injured, two of them critically. He added that efforts were underway to verify the status of 12 other people.
Zelensky said search and rescue operations were continuing and that 13 regions of Ukraine had been attacked overnight, with homes, infrastructure and railway facilities damaged.
Zelensky argued that the lifting of sanctions on diesel exports was seen by Russia as a signal to continue its attacks, and said Russia’s losses must increase for it to end the war. He also said Ukraine would respond to Russian attacks.
