Zelensky: Trump Can Stop Putin
Kyiv, June 14 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that no one has been able to stop Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying that only U.S. President Donald Trump remains and he might be able to do it.
President Zelensky said that no one has stopped Putin, and only Trump is left who can do it.
However, he noted that one thing is essential to stop Putin: “He has to lose money. Only then will he be unable to expand his army and military sector.”
Zelensky emphasized the importance of sanctions: “They target the banking sector, the shadow fleet, and oil prices. Putting a cap on Russian energy prices is crucial because oil is their main source of revenue. What’s happening in the Middle East is currently raising oil prices, which affects Europe’s security. That’s why oil price caps are such a powerful tool.”
