President Zelensky announced that, following agreements made with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Ankara, he had a meaningful meeting with representatives of the Turkish government and business world.

Zelensky emphasized the importance of Turkish companies being present in Ukraine and appreciated Turkey’s support, especially in supplying Bayraktar drones.

Zelensky also stated that they discussed efforts to bring about a fair and lasting peace, the development of bilateral relations, opportunities for cooperation in the production of various types of drones, and the participation of Turkish companies in the reconstruction of Ukraine.

President Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine considers Turkey one of its strategic partners, and also views Turkey as a partner in security guarantees, adding that Ukraine is ready to ratify the Free Trade Agreement with Turkey during President Erdoğan’s upcoming visit.
