Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated in a social media post that he had held a productive conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Zelenskyy noted that the discussion covered the ballistic missile interception systems Ukraine needs to protect lives, early warning mechanisms for Russian ballistic missile attacks and resolving the issues surrounding the restoration of Starlink/Starshield services.

Zelenskyy said the conversation took place as diplomatic efforts to end the war continued, adding that the two sides had agreed to speak again soon to assess developments. He also thanked Americans who support Ukraine.
