A car plowed into a crowd at a Christmas market in France
Paris, 6 December (Hibya) – According to Franceinfo, a drunk driver crashed into a food truck and a crowd at a Christmas market in the town of Sainte-Anne in France.
The report stated: “Shortly after 7:30 p.m. local time, a car veered off the road and struck a group of people gathered around a minibus in the town of Sainte-Anne. The accident occurred at Schölcher Square, near the town hall and the church.”
It was reported that 27 people, including seven children, were injured in the incident. The 45-year-old driver was detained shortly afterward. Tests showed the presence of drugs and alcohol in the driver’s samples.
