Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten made important statements regarding bilateral relations during Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the Netherlands.

Jetten stated that the friendship between India and the Netherlands is growing stronger and that this visit has elevated relations to the level of a “Strategic Partnership.”

According to the statement, letters of intent are being signed or prepared for signing in many fields, including defense cooperation, advanced technology and innovation, healthcare services, and water management.

It was also reported that a letter of intent for cooperation between ASML and Tata Electronics was signed as a critical step in the semiconductor sector.

Jetten stated that these developments also support the significant trade agreement previously signed between India and the European Union, adding, “We are building a strong partnership that provides mutual benefits.”

Meanwhile, Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen announced that they hosted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in the Netherlands.

Berendsen stated that the visit once again demonstrated the importance of the strategic partnership between India and the Netherlands amid rapidly changing global dynamics.

Berendsen noted that the goal is to further deepen relations between the two countries in the fields of economy, diplomacy, and global cooperation, emphasizing the importance of increasing mutual contacts.
