Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Abiy said, "Today, I am pleased to announce that the first 26 city buses previously powered by conventional fuel have been converted to natural gas and entered service." He explained that over the past few months, the necessary logistical operations had been successfully completed to transport domestically produced natural gas to Addis Ababa, establish refueling stations, and finish converting the buses.

Abiy emphasized that the conversion would reduce the country's foreign currency expenditure on fuel, lower public transport operating costs, and halve passenger fares. He also noted that converting the buses using local resources demonstrated Ethiopia's growing domestic capabilities and technology transfer.

Stating that Ethiopia aims to eliminate its dependence on conventional fuel entirely, Abiy said, "400 new natural gas-powered buses will arrive in the country soon." The prime minister added that efforts would continue to deliver lasting improvements to citizens' lives in the food, housing, and transportation sectors.
