According to a statement issued by the Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic, President Ahmed Al-Sharaa met today at the People's Palace in Damascus with a significant economic delegation. The delegation included business representatives from the Damascus and Rural Damascus Chambers of Industry and the Damascus and Rural Damascus Chambers of Commerce.

During the high-level meeting, attended by the Minister of Economy and Industry as well as the Governors of Damascus and Rural Damascus, participants discussed steps to strengthen cooperation and partnership between the public and private sectors in the country. They also addressed ways to support the economic recovery process and resolve the current challenges facing local industry and trade sectors.

It was stated that the main objective of the meeting was to contribute to the development of the national economy, increase new investment opportunities in the country, and promote sustainable economic growth.
