According to a statement issued by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah.

During the call, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation relations and ways to support and strengthen them. They also discussed Pakistan's mediation efforts between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The discussion focused on coordinating mediation efforts aimed at reducing regional tensions and enhancing security and stability.

The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of all parties responding positively to the ongoing mediation efforts, noting that this would pave the way for addressing the root causes of the crisis through peaceful means and dialogue, and would lead to a sustainable agreement that prevents renewed escalation.
