Al Khulaifi holds phone call with Venezuelan Foreign Minister Gil
Doha, June 25 (Hibya) – Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi, held a phone call with Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil, conveying Qatar's condolences and solidarity following the earthquake.
According to a statement by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister of State Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi held a telephone conversation with the Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yvan Gil.
During the call, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation and ways to strengthen and further develop relations. They also exchanged views on the latest developments in the Latin American region.
Al Khulaifi also expressed the State of Qatar's solidarity following the two earthquakes that struck Venezuela. He conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims, the Government and the people of Venezuela, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
